Levi's POV

Hanji shouted and we saw her laying on the shitty ground, her uniform was filled with blood, she is like a rag doll being trashed and thrown. We approached her. Her once lively (e/c) orbs is now a dull and lifeless one.

"Oi, (y/n) hang in there, we will save you, please" Hanji pleaded "stop that, she is dead" I said. "no she is NOT" she shouted "why are you so sure that she is alive look at her, does she looks like she can survive?" I snapped "I know, she will, please (y/n) give a sign" Hanji held her hands.

"Let's go" I said "but Corporal" Petra said "we can't do anything" I said and walked away. Then I heard a coughing "(y/n), (y/n), hey are you alright" Hanji said when I turn around I saw her breathing. "hurry up, we need to bring her" Hanji frantically said "tch, be careful" I said and help her out.

For some reason I am relieve that she is alive. 

we went back to the rest and they give her first aid "how is she?" Petra asked "not good, we need to get back soon as possible" Moblit said.

"We are going back" Erwin commanded.

On are way back we encounter some problem but so far we didn't lose any soldiers, as we reach the gate whispers can hear but it doesn't matter I look ahead and look at the carriage that carry the injured (y/n), I hope she was alright, wait it is alright to worry my soldier right?

Why, what is this feeling, tch this is irritating. We reach the HQ

"Hurry, where is the medic" Hanji shouted "Hanji, calm down, she is strong she can make it" Erwin said.

I decided to go back to my office and sat down "(sigh) stupid brat" I curse and Petra went to my office "are you alright?" Petra asked "yes, I am" I said "hey, can I ask you something?" she said "what is it?" "ahmm, the day I went to your office, when I accidentally came in here and I thought no one is here" she said "say it,what is it?" I snapped

"sorry, is it the day (y/n) found out the two of us?" she asked.

Oh that day, when I rejected her, why do I feel so bad about that day? shit . . .  "yes, but don't worry I think she understand the situation" I said "is that so, but why is she here?" she asked, I looked at her "she just asked something, I need to go to Erwin" I lied I don't want to talk about that.

"ok" she smiled "I am glad that your alive" I mumbled "yeah, me too, but it all thanks to (y/n), but I hope everyone made it, if only I can be-" she said sadly I stood up and approached her "hush, don't blame yourself, go to your room and rest" I said she nodded "ok, see you later" she said and left.

A sigh left in my mouth, (y/n) (l/n) she is just a normal cadet, but her personality, her smile, her annoying laugh yet soothing wait, wait tch why does this getting into me now. 

I went outside of my office and walk aimlessly then after a few turns I stop in front of the infirmary, then I heard something inside the room "is she going to be fine?" oh its Shitty Glasses "as for now let us just watch what will happen, we did our best, but I don't know what will happen, she have a major injuries but she is lucky I can say" the nurse said "ok" Hanji said "I will check her later now please excuse me" the nurse said

I have to go "Oh, Lance corporal, good afternoon" the nurse said I nodded "are you going to visit the patient?" she asked "no, I am just passing by" I said "oh okay, now if you'll excuse me" then she left. Why am here anyway? I walk and went to Erwin's office maybe just to spend some time.

Time skip.

Week had passed, and I decided to tell everyone about me and Petra but before that I want to announce it when (y/n) is awake but up until now she is still unconscious, so I went to announce it even she is not awake, there are mixed emotions, there are some happy but most of them is surprised, when I looked at Hanji she looked mad but at the same time sad.

She approached me after the announcement.

Flash back
"Levi, tell me something" Hanji burst into my room "what the fuck shitty glasses" I cursed "does she know about it?" she asked madly "who are you talking about!" I snapped "does (y/n) know about this?" she said, I pause yes she does "when you reject her the reason of that is because you have relationship with Petra?!" she is shouting and she is right

"Yes, she know it, now that you know the answer get out of my office now!" I snapped, she glared at me and left. I sigh and sat back in my chair "what's wrong with her" I said to no one "what does it matter to her if (y/n) knows it" then I remembered 'you are her first and last love' "ridiculous" I sigh once more and rub my temples, "this is really frustrating"

After that Hanji didn't talk to me unless it is important. 

"Levi, Commander wants to see you" Petra come into my office "what does he wants now?" I asked "I don't know" she said "tch, I'll be back later" I said "ok see you" she happily said and kiss me in the cheek "tch" and she giggled 

at Erwin's office 

"what do you want?" I ask "Oh finally, Levi I want you to go fetch Hanji and make her go to her room and make her stop worrying about (y/n)" he said "why don't you do it yourself" I said "I've done that, but it is no use, I think you can do that, she is doing that for a while now, (y/n) is so important to Hanji but she can't stay there for the whole time" Erwin said and I can sense he is concern about Shitty glasses's health "fine" I said "good, thanks" he said and I went to the infirmary.

At the infirmary

When I got there she is sitting beside (y/n)'s bed and there she is laying like a doll. "oi shitty glasses, Erwin said go to your room and take a rest, she will not be happy if she sees you like that" I said. Hanji looked up and glared at me "how did you know?" she asked her voice is tired, I pause... how? well I just know, (y/n) will not be happy if she sees you like that, worrying about her to the extent that you will not take care of yourself, of course I will not say that

"I just know it, go and take a rest, I will take care of her" I said, then she will say something about me and Petra "don't bother, nothing will change, just take a rest shitty glasses" I said then she smirk "fine, fine shorty, I'll be back later" she said and left. I sat where she left.


I stare at her laying form, she is really lucky to survive. "how long are you going to sleep there brat?" I said ~silence~ "hey, thank you for saving Petra. . . but why did you that?" I asked still no answer, this is really frustrating watching her like this, not talking and not messing around. I kinda miss her, I remembered something

"CORPORAL, SQUAD LEADER HANJI WANTS TO SEE YOU" she shouted along the hallway "stupid brat no need to shout" I said she just chukle "what so funny?" I asked "nothing, anyway Squad Leader wants to see you" she smiled widely "I know that" I said and I walk off and then "CORPORAL" she shouted again I turned around and see her smile "Good MOrning, Have a nice day" she said and wave "tch" and I left

"Here is your tea Corporal" she happily said "why are you so loud" I snapped "oh come now, Corporal it is a nice day, it is a waste if I will not be cheerful" she said "tch" "tch" we both said and she laugh "I know that you will do it (laugh)" she said "one week stable duty, you brat" I snapped "EEEHHHHHHHHH~ but Corporal" I smirk, and drink my tea while she is complaining

Memories of her rush through my mind, she sure does know how to disturb silence, and going back to reality this silence between the two of us is uncomfortable

"wake up stupid brat, everyone is worrying about you ~silence~ tch why am I doing this" I lean back and close my eyes.

then 

"I'm s-sorry C-corp-poral f-for w-w-worrying y-you" a groggy voice speak when I look at the source of the voice (e/c) orbs are staring at me, I can't believe it she is finally awake, a warm feeling and relief wash through my body "tch, you finally wake up" I said. She smiled. I can see her smile again.

"wait here I will call the nurse" I said she nodded and I left.

Your Pov'

How long am I out? I look at the ceiling, what happened anyway? . . .  Oh that's right I was buying Petra some time to catch up with Eren so I fought the female Titan as expected I was crushed by it, she was so strong then I hit a tree with a loud bang and I hit my back then fall then hit the ground and I was laying there for a while, mhmm then what happened next.

Oh yeah that's right, Hanji was calling  my name and they found me, after that I saw Petra and Corporal Levi, oh Hanji was worried about me and she was crying I hate to see her like that then, darkness consumed me.

I felt so lonely floating in the mid air darkness around me I look around to see some exits but there isn't then I heard Corporal's voice, I giggle at his demanding tone, asking when will I wake up? then he thank me for saving Petra.. It is because I don't want you to experience anymore pain, you shoulder too much of that and even though you can't accept my feelings for you, I guess I am content to see you happy with the one you love even though it hurts. Then demanding me to wake up and telling me everyone is worrying about me it made me happy and sad at the same time but one question is hunting me. In that everyone are you belong who those are worrying about me?

Then a knock is heard and the nurse and Corporal went inside

"How are you?" the nurse asked "I am fine I think" I said and my voice is so dry "c-can I have some water?" I asked "sure, wait here I will get you some water" she said and left

Levi's pov 

 When the nurse left, I look at her "how are you feeling?" I ask she look at me "feeling weak, hungry, thirsty, but all in all I am fine, thank you for asking" she smiled "tch, I am just checking, anyway Shitty glasses will be happy to see you again, even though she stay here everyday" I said "Squad leader do that?" she asked "yes, and she looks like a shit for looking at you and waiting for you to wake up" 

"(chuckle) I've cause a lot of trouble" she mumbled "yes you are" 

"I'm sorry" she said "tch, cadet (Y/n)" she look up "yes Corporal?" she said "why did you follow them?" I asked "well, I have a bad feeling that something will happen, then I found out about the female titan" she said 

Then the nurse came in "here is your water, now I will check if you're fully recovered okay" (y/n) nodded "corporal would you mind if can you go outside?" the nurse ask "sure, cadet (y/n) I'll talk to you later, and I will tell Erwin about your situation" I said "thank you corporal" she said

Time skip

After I told Erwin that (y/n) woke up he looked relieved, and Hanji run to infirmary and almost cause another injury to (y/n) when she give her a hug and she was crying and the other brats are happy to see her they are crying as well, (y/n) sure has huge effect on them.. 

I was in my office and I am sitting with Petra on my side her head was on my shoulder and one arm was wrapped on her shoulder "hey Levi, I am glad that (y/n) is already recovered" she said "not yet she still need to take a rest to fully recover" I said "does she know that you announced about us in the whole Survey Corps?" she asked "no"

"I'll talk to her later" I said "okay but make sure you don't exhaust her" she said "fine" I said

Time skip~~~~~~^.^

I went to the infirmary and I could hear laughs I went in and they fell quite, it was the shiganshina trio, and Hanji "oh what are you doing here shorty?" Hanji asked "are you visiting her?" she added "yes I am and I want to talk her alone" I said "aw, (y/n) is still recovering don't scold her, I already do that" Hanji said and (y/n) laugh nervously.

"I just want to talk her" I said seriously "come one guys" Arlert said "see you (y/n)" Jeager said then Ackerman ruffled her hair that made her giggle "fine" she said

I nodded and then they left

"Good evening Corporal" she said "I see that you are recovering fast" I sat on the chair beside her bed "yes, yes I am ~silence~ ah I heard that you announce to everyone about you and Petra, congrats" she smiled but I can tell there is sadness in her eye, why? 

"So corporal, what it is that you want to talk about?" she asked "once again I want you to tell me why did you follow them?"I asked "w-well as I told you before Corporal, when we are waiting for the signal of commander Erwin, I had a bad feeling that something is bad going to happen so my instinct said I should follow it" she said 

"You know you shouldn't act on your own when we are outside or even inside of the wall without any commands right?" 

"I know sir" she fiddled with fingers "but, thank you for saving Petra" she looked up "(nervously chuckle) i-it was nothing" she scratched her cheeks.

There is a question bothering me I should ask her "you followed them right?" I asked and she nodded "you witness how the others died right" and nodded "then why did you save Petra?" she was taken a back 

I can see her shift "i-it i-is b-because, P-Petra s-she is important to you r-right, the reason I can't save the other because I can't and w-when Petra was on the verge of death e-everything a-around me s-slows down, I don't know but it is -like it is giving m-me a chance to choose" she stuttered, she looks like going to cry, "choose what?" I said "i-if I will save her or not, and at the end I save her and right now she is alive and she still with you, that all matters right?" she smiled but her smile was filled with pain.


"Why did you choose to save her? did you hesitate?" I can't stop asking her and all of this is making her suffer, she looked at me and I can see that she took a deep breathe to calm herself and answer "yes, at first I hesitate, I told to myself, If I will not save her it means that I have a chance to be with Corporal right? but realization hit me, I can't replace her, she is the one you love right, the truth is I don't want you to feel anymore pain even though you didn't show it I can feel it, there are a lot of things happen, like the fall of wall Maria, Eren being a titan and many more for those past years I watch you creepy? sorry, but seeing you with Petra you sure does look peaceful" she pauses and looked down and I could see droplets of her tears fall down

"I *sob* I can't afford to see you in pain Corporal *sob* and when I asked Petra if she does love you and she said that she truly love you *sob* I thought I made the right choice to save her*sob* I *sob* I will do anything *sob* to make you happy *sob* corporal, it is because *sobs* I *sob* Love *sob* you so much" she try to stop her crying by wiping it by her hands but her tears won't stop "sorry if I look like this" she said

I stay quite, I don't know what to say, but for now the best thing is to listen to her then I heard "do you love her?" she asked and looked at me with red, puffy, filled with tears orbs "Yes, I do love her, Thank you for saving her, but next time don't do such a reckless things, and as for your love I can't accept it but thank you" I said 

She shook her head from side to side and smile, but a painful smile "Its alright, and Good to hear it, that you love her, don't worry Corporal, I will support you both, as long you're happy. Thank you Corporal Levi, can I have my rest now?" she asked but I know she need some space.

I stand up "please take a rest, thank you for this talk cadet (y/n)" I said and left.

Right after I close the door I could hear her sobs but she is trying to cover it, she will do everything for me to be happy? 

I walk into my room and saw Petra sleeping I approached her and run a finger to her cheek, I love this woman and the price of it I hurt (y/n), why can't I have two hearts?. . . .  wait why did I ask for that, what is this feeling, (y/n) has effect on me as well, I am not worthy of (y/n)'s love. I am not a worthy person to give such affection.

Normal Pov'

When (y/n) has recovered everything went back to normal, or so it is. (y/n) went back to being jolly, lively cadet, but deep inside her there is a huge crack in her heart, watching only from a far as her love was happy being with the woman she love, but she kept telling herself as long as he is happy I am happy.

Petra is now carrying the Humanity strongest's baby, everyone is excited about it "I'm sure he will looks like you, Petra" Krista said "oh, I hope he or she will not get Levi's attitude" Petra joked "I hope not" (y/n) said and everyone laugh.

Then 

"Titans has breached all the walls" someone said
